HECATE project’s Final Review Meeting took place on 25-26 February 2026 at SEP premises, in the presence of all project partners, CAJU Project Officer, two external reviewers, and EASA representatives.

A critical technical and strategic review of the achievements at the end of the project was carried out successfully, and overall appreciations were very positive. Two external reviewers that were mandated for the exercise were able to provide detailed feedback about the project achievements. EASA summarized HECATE architecture impact on certification requirement and anticipated technical challenges, concluding that the involvement of certification authorities in research projects is key to prepare the regulatory framework for innovation in aviation.

The event was concluded by a workshop on “HECATE Integration and Test Workshop” for external stakeholders. In this workshop, the consortium researchers presented key results related to the HECATE technologies, integration and tests performed at the Copper bird developed in the project.
